Senior PRA Compliance Specialist

Salary:  Maximum $102K DOE

Place of Performance: Remote/Telework Eligible  

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Clearance: Public Trust recommended or eligible for a Public Trust

Education: Required bachelor’s degree in public administration, Business, Government, Policy, or related discipline. Preferred: Master’s degree.

Experience: Require 5+ years federal compliance experience, PRA or regulatory compliance experience. Preferred OMB information collection experience.

Certifications: Preferred PMP or Certified Government Financial Manager

CONTRACT SUMMARY

The Compliance Contract Support Task Order provides professional compliance and administrative support services to the International Trade Administration (ITA), Office of the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (OCFAO). The contract supports the agency’s statutory compliance responsibilities under the: Federal Records Act , Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Clinger-Cohen Act and Federal information management and administrative requirements.

The position provides subject matter expertise that assists ITA leadership with records management, regulatory compliance, information collection approvals, federal information requests, capital planning, property accountability, administrative operations, travel management, and organizational support activities.

Role Summary

The PRA Specialist supports ITA’s compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act by managing Information Collection Requests (ICRs), supporting OMB submissions, and coordinating agency information collection activities. This position ensures the agency receives and maintains approval for collecting information from the public.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ITA Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) program and ensure compliance with OMB and Department of Commerce requirements.
  • Coordinate with ITA stakeholders and the DOC PRA Officer to create, renew, and manage Information Collection Requests (ICRs).
  • Track ICRs, monitor expiration dates, and initiate renewal or discontinuation actions.
  • Review and maintain ICR documentation, records, and OMB submissions through ROCIS.
  • Monitor Federal Register notices, PRA correspondence, and public comments.
  • Provide guidance on PRA requirements, OMB clearance processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop PRA resources, training materials, SharePoint content, and guidance documentation.
  • Support customer experience initiatives and compliance with OMB Circular A-11 Section 280.
  • Maintain PRA records and support the ITA Forms Program to ensure forms remain current, compliant, and accessible.
