Project Summary: Assist the Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG) at Robins AFB with operational tasks including guiding trainees. The SCMG plans and executes the AF Supply Chain to enable weapon system employment when and where needed. This includes providing life-cycle logistics support to include developing enterprise demand/supply plans, developing/implementing sourcing strategies, executing the supply plan, and executing cognizant engineering authority to meet customer requirements for aircraft engines, structural, instruments, accessories, avionics systems, electronic warfare, support equipment, vehicles, and automatic test equipment commodities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform logistics management tasks including requirements definition, performance assessment, specification development, risk assessment and mitigation, configuration and data management, product hardware/software testing, safety, quality assurance, enterprise repair, reliability and maintainability, and technology transfer/insertion.
- Analyze installation and Major Command planning/programming documents to determine acquisition and sustainment efforts.
- Provide guidance on logistics systems and processes, including:
- Developing tactical and strategic acquisition strategies.
- Utilizing systems like Requirements Approval Document (RAD), Purchase Request Process System (PRPS), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Logistics Installations and Mission Support Enterprise View (LIMS-EV), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Asset Visibility, Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAV-AF), and Planning for DLA Managed Consumables (PDMC)/Demand Data Exchange (DDE).
- Building program continuity books, leading IPTs, applying AFSO21 8-Step Problem Solving, developing bullet background papers, retention letters/packages, and Market Research reports.
- Participate in IPTs for specific weapon systems, subsystems, or programs.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards (no more than one rejection per deliverable, three total rejections per year) and are submitted on time via WAWF (no more than two late submissions per year).
- Respond to requests for assistance within 48 business hours.
- Maintain no more than one validated customer complaint per quarter.
