Project Summary: Assist the Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG) at Robins AFB with operational tasks including guiding trainees. The SCMG plans and executes the AF Supply Chain to enable weapon system employment when and where needed. This includes providing life-cycle logistics support to include developing enterprise demand/supply plans, developing/implementing sourcing strategies, executing the supply plan, and executing cognizant engineering authority to meet customer requirements for aircraft engines, structural, instruments, accessories, avionics systems, electronic warfare, support equipment, vehicles, and automatic test equipment commodities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting Government Supply Planners with tasks related to Inventory Management Specialist systems and processes.
- Using Enterprise Supply Chain Analysis
- Planning & Execution (ESCAPE) Program / Service Parts Management (SPM) aka Servigistics
- Assisting IPT with factors and usage changes, accomplishing Automated Budget Control System (ABCS) file maintenance
- Reviewing load list to determine buy budgets (Program Execution)
- Developing and preparing Purchase Instruments packages utilizing Purchase Request Process System (PRPS)
- Reviewing and providing assistance to IPT concerning discrepancies associated with terminations
- Buying, repairing, and excessing, reviewing and assisting with Execution and Prioritization of Repair Support System (EXPRESS)
- Provide logistics experience with National Stock Number (NSN) reviews
- Assist with D035A actions
- Updating asset status in LIMS-EV
- Assist with cataloging actions in D143C/D043A
- Knowledge and experience with the Stock Control System to assist team with the review and clearing of excess, disposal, front-end screening and/or reclamation actions.
- Assist team with Form 8s and Form 95s
- Assist team with the ability to track shipment and delivery of shipped assets
- Assist team with regards to terminations of PRs or Contracts.
- Knowledge of WEBSDRs, ILS-S, CIDS, MIAP, MSDIS, DAASINQ, WEBVLIPS
- Respond to phone calls and e-mail requests for status from customers, both externally and internally.
- Provide journeyman level assistance and guidance on logistics systems and processes to other personnel
- Provide logistics experience and assistance to the Requirements Control Officer (RCO).
Requirements
- Experience with Supply Chain Management around United States Air Force Avionics, Electronic Warfare, Support Equipment, Special Operations, and/or specific aircraft to include F-15, C-130, and C-5.
- United States Air Force experience as an Officer / Non-Commissioned officer preferred.
- Civilian / Contractor experiences providing similar experience to USAF or other military branch is acceptable.
