Job Title: Back-End Developer, Senior
Clearance: TS/SCI (desired)
Location: 100% Onsite – JBSA-Lackland, TX or Fort Meade, MD
Position Summary:
This role supports engineering efforts for back-end design and development, including architecture support for integrations, RESTful API development, database management, and data model optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop back-end architecture and services.
- Implement and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Manage databases and optimize data models.
- Conduct systems tests and resolve technical issues.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s in a related field (Master’s may substitute 2 years).
- 10 years in software development with object-oriented/scripted languages.
- 5 years in back-end web development.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, Python, RESTful APIs, and AWS infrastructure.
- Familiar with Kubernetes, RedHat Linux, and relational databases.
- 5+ years with JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and leading projects.
Desired Qualifications:
- Classified/unclassified data integration experience.
- DoD software experience, Agile development, CI/CD.
- 5 years of experience working in DoD DevSecOps environment
- 5 years of experience with DoD software development
- 5 years of experience working with DoD Combatant Commands (CCMD) or Service Cyber Components.
- Experience developing, testing, or sustaining software in a cloud based CI/CD Software development environment.
- Experience with migrating and integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments using AWS Diode.
